Shining Life Children’s Trust is working with a partner organisation, the Hanguraketha Chuildrens Care Women's Foundation, on the Rahuntagoda tea estate.

The project is running on four divisions in the estate, which is situated in the hill area, 27 km from Kandy and 147 km from Colombo. The four divisions are: Rutland, Mookoloya, Riverdale and Katukele.

The initial 6-month project ran from October 2008 to March 2009. The main project ran from June 2009 until May 2011.

A sustainability report has been produced. The Trust will be implementing a small extension project to make sure that the project is sustainable, so that the Trust can withdraw from the project, as planned.
